Week of September 3, 2019

Dear Fifth Grade Families,

Our curriculum night for 4th-6th grade is this Thursday. At curriculum night you will attend a presentation in the MPR on the 5th and 6th grade math curriculum. Afterwards you will go to your student's homeroom to experience your child's daily schedule and discover more about what 5th graders will learn with their homeroom teachers this year. We would love to see you there! Please refer to the lower school newsletter for more details.

In other news, signups for intramurals are still open. The first practices for both Girls Volleyball and Boys Flag Football will be this Friday. Signups will close next Monday, September 9th. Signups for intramural Mathletes are also ongoing! Miss Franzmann and Mrs. Cramer will be the coaches for the Mathlete house teams.

Please note that during Lyceum, your students have the opportunity to request a Math Pass from their homeroom teacher. With the Math Pass, the student may visit our math specialist, Miss Franzmann, with questions related to any mathematical topic, including homework. This is a great venue for students to ask math questions in addition to class time. Please encourage your students to make use of this resource.
