 Looking Forward:

• Literature Test - Tuesday, February 2
• Begin reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Wednesday, February 3
• History Test - Wednesday, February 3
• Great Hearts Day - Friday, February 12

What we will be learning:

Math:

• We will be exploring multiplying decimals by single-digit and double-digit numbers.

Grammar/Writing:

• We will revise and edit our essays written for Independent Study Projects, focusing on designing effective 3-point thesis statements.

Literature: Test and Voyage of the Dawn Treader

• We will review study guides and take an assessment over Where the Red Fern Grows.  We will begin reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Science:  Geosphere and Landforms

• We will wrap up our study of the rock cycle and then turn our attention to the formation of mountains, valleys, sand dunes, deltas, and other landforms.

History: Test and The Reformation

• We will review study guides and take an assessment over our Italian Renaissance unit. Arrivederci!  We will begin our unit on the Protestant Reformation.
