Dear Fifth Grade Families,
In Literature, we learn and practice vocabulary words so that they can become a part of our everyday conversations. One way you can support and engage your children is to use our vocabulary words in discussion with your children. I will post our vocabulary words here on the blog under the "Literature" heading. Then you can sneak them into your family discussions. For example, you could praise your children for their valor on the football field or the volleyball court on their last game. Or you could ask them to treat their brothers and sisters humanely.
