We will begin reading our next Classic to Keep, "Across Five Aprils" Tuesday!
Your student must read 4 days of the week to be counted for House points!
The Week at a Glance:
In Grammar and Writing we will continue to review basic sentence diagramming structures and we will practice narrative retelling and writing. In Math we will practice Order of Operations and looks at beginning algebraic expressions. In Science we will investigate insect metamorphosis and we will begin to review concepts taught earlier in the year. In Literature we will have our Dawn Treader Literature celebration on Monday, and we will begin reading Across Five Aprils Tuesday. In History we will be examining the causes of the American Civil War including Lincoln and the Battle of Fort Sumter. We will begin to memorize the Gettysburg Address.
